We are seeking an experienced Emergency & Trauma Nurse Manager to provide leadership, clinical oversight, and operational support within the Emergency Department.
Position Overview:
The Nurse Manager will oversee patient care, nursing staff, and daily ED operations while partnering closely with the Director of Patient Care Services. This role requires a strong people leader who can also step into a bedside clinical role and support the department when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support Emergency Department nursing staff
- Provide oversight of daily ED operations and patient care
- Promote safe, high-quality patient care and clinical standards
- Support staffing, workflow, and departmental needs
- Partner with the Director of Patient Care Services on ED operations
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nursing staff
- Take bedside/clinical shifts as needed
- Support care delivery in a fast-paced emergency and trauma environment
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
- BSN preferred
Experience:
- Recent nursing leadership experience within the last 2 years required
- Emergency Department experience required
- Training and clinical experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Must be comfortable with both leadership responsibilities and bedside patient care
License:
- Current Colorado RN license OR compact-state RN license
Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS/BCLS
- PALS
- NRP
- TNCC
