Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality nursing care by utilizing the nursing process, while collaborating with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards. This role involves implementing care in accordance with hospital policies, mission, and professional guidelines, while fostering patient and family-centered care.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored to patient and family needs.
  • Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient requirements.
  • Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
  • Take personal responsibility for ensuring quality patient care, patient satisfaction, the care environment, and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Emergency Room.
  • Certifications: TNCC or ENPC required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA is required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA is required.
  • Active state license in Michigan at the time of submission is required.

Work Schedule

  • Four 12-hour shifts with overtime after 48 hours, or three 12-hour shifts with overtime after 40 hours.
  • Weekend requirements: Every other weekend.
  • No on-call requirements.

Applicants can expect outreach within two hours regarding the next steps in the clinical interview process, with decisions typically made the same day or by the next business day.
