Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) care for night shifts. This is a critical role that requires a strong ability to provide nursing care to patients across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Shift: 12-hour Nights
• Hours: 48 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Must be available to work if needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care utilizing age-related growth and development knowledge.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including pre-hospital personnel.
• Manage patient care, including comfort with drips and ventilators.
• Adapt swiftly to high-stress situations to ensure patient safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years current Emergency Department experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience of at least 3 months.
• Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Must possess current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications through AHA or Red Cross.
• Ability to work without scheduling accommodations.
• Must have personal transportation.

Additional Information

Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work during key holiday blocks if scheduled. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted prior to submission and cannot exceed five days.
