Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift position requiring EPIC experience and CA RN licensure.

Details

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department
  • Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, on 36 or 48 hour contracts
  • EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
  • Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
  • Minimum three years of recent experience in the ER specialty, within the last three months
  • BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
  • No prior licensure actions or restrictions permitted

Additional Information

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned ER patients following established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective care delivery
  • Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
  • Holiday RTO will not be approved
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
  • Can only be submitted to one hospital within this health system at a time
