American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure, EPIC experience, and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting within an acute care hospital
  • Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts (0700-1930), 36 or 48 hours per week
  • EPIC experience required

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • BLS certification required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS)
  • ACLS certification required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
  • PALS certification required (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS)
  • NRP certification required (AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS)
  • Minimum three years of recent experience in the ER specialty required
  • BSN preferred
  • Acute care facility experience preferred
  • No prior license disciplinary actions permitted

Additional Information

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
  • Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care planning
  • Develop and implement care plans, evaluate patient outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, humane, and caring treatment
  • Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
  • Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
  • Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
  • Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction, and local pay rates match travel rates
