Job Summary for ER RN – SJO Emergency

- Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Location: Orange, CA
- Facility: Acute Care Magnet Hospital, 426 beds
- Start Date: ASAP
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within last year) ER RN experience
- Experience in an ER with 200+ patient volume required
- First-time travelers not accepted
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Work Environment:
- High volume, comprehensive ER (Cardiac, STEMI, Stroke, Behavioral Health)
- No travel pairs considered
- Local radius: 50 miles (different rate applies)
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue for RNs
- Charting: Epic
- Free parking available
- Scheduling:
- Weekends required (every other, may exceed based on unit needs)
- Block scheduling at manager’s discretion
- No on-call requirements
- Scheduling requests for outside employment not considered
- Other Requirements:
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted with application
- Pending licenses not accepted
- Guaranteed hours; facility may call off once per two week pay period
Med Ninjas Job ID #21053. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
