Description
Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Eureka, California.
Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care according to established standards.
- Assess patients and monitor their clinical condition.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Care for patients in the assigned unit, including ER hold/Observation patients when floated.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor and document patient responses and changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
- Float to the Observation Unit as required.
- Participate in weekend coverage according to the 3 out of 6 requirement.
Requirements
- Active California RN License – Required
- 1 year of nursing experience – Required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Pending California license not accepted
- Ability to float to the Observation Unit/ER Hold patients
- Ability to meet the 3 out of 6 weekend requirement
- RTO limited to 7 days or less
- Ability to wear personal scrubs with no prints
- Must be available to start ASAP
