Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic emergency medicine team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients in critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate emergency care.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as needed.
• Utilize telemetry equipment and respond to urgent patient situations promptly.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to night shifts, working 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00. There is a weekend rotation and an expectation to work every other holiday.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years.
• Valid Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license required.
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only) are mandatory.
• Successful completion of a telemetry test prior to starting the position.
