Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Epic experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- BLS and ACLS required
- PALS or ENPC equivalency required
- TNCC required
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday shifts as scheduled
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and confidence in a fast-paced Emergency Department
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent medical needs
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity
- Provide care for trauma, medical, and behavioral health patients in a busy Emergency Department
- Administer medications and treatments according to clinical protocols
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely, effective patient care
- Maintain a calm, professional presence in a high-pressure clinical environment
