Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This assignment is expected to last between 16 and 26 weeks. The position features evening shifts with a scheduled 12-hour shift time, requiring a minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates must be available to start on 09/14/2026 and work through 12/13/2026, with a commitment to the specified schedule and operational requirements.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour evening shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/14/2026 to 12/13/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Active or pending NY license (application date within 6-8 weeks), AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Epic electronic medical record experience from within the past 2 years is required. One year minimum of ER experience. Prior travel experience preferred. Charge nurse experience is a plus.
  • Additional Information:
    • Assignment duration ranges from 16 to 26 weeks.
    • Worker must work two out of four major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
    • No block scheduling; bi-weekly orientations occur on Mondays.
    • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; complete employment history including bed count, EMR systems, and facility type is required for submission.
    • Reliable transportation is strongly recommended as public transit is not accessible. Vehicles should be equipped for winter conditions from November to April.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
