Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse located in a community hospital setting. This position involves providing care in a Level II trauma center with a patient population of over 35 beds and approximately 45,000 annual visits. The role requires adapting to varying patient acuity levels and rotation schedules, including weekend shifts. Candidates must demonstrate critical care skills within scope and have current licensure and certifications.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating East/North shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. The assignment begins on 10/06/2026 and ends on 01/03/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California licensure, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), at least 1 year of experience in emergency nursing, and valid certifications must be attached upon submission.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level II trauma center, trauma experience, and pediatric care experience are strongly preferred.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The ER handles approximately 45,000 patients annually, operates with patient acuity-based ratios, and may require the candidate to float within scope of their skills as needed. EMR documentation is in Epic, and scrubs are not specified but will be provided with detailed instructions on the first day.
