Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a healthcare organization located in the area. This position involves providing emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care, working nights, and meeting operational needs as specified by the healthcare provider.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Backfill role, immediate start available. Assignment duration is 16-26 weeks. Requirements include BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NRP, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications. Previous travel experience and a minimum of two years of in-unit ER experience are required. Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience from within the past two years is mandatory.
  • Certifications & Education: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS or ENPC, NRP, NIHSS, and TNCC are required; NIHSS must be completed prior to start; TNCC or proof of class with date applied is mandatory.
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: No floating required; charge experience highly preferred. Must be flexible to work every other weekend and adjust schedule to meet unit and patient care needs. Holiday work is required, with flexibility needed for schedule adjustments. Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays.
  • Submission Requirements: All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. Complete employment history, including bed count, EMR type, and facility details, is mandatory for submission. Reliable personal or rental vehicle transportation is strongly recommended, especially between November and April when snow tires are advised.
