Shift: Days, 4×12 Hours (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

 

Requirements:

  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Current RN license
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • NIHSS certification
  • NRP certification
  • PALS certification
  • TNCC certification
  • CPI certification preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced Emergency Department
  • Familiarity with electronic charting systems preferred
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Description:

Shannon Health System is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for an urgent backfill assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive emergency care to patients with a wide range of medical and traumatic conditions, perform rapid assessments, administer medications and treatments, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and respond effectively in high-acuity situations. Travel experience is required, and the selected candidate must report to San Angelo, TX, on the first day of the assignment before beginning work in Big Spring. This is a 13-week day shift assignment (4×12 hours) with no block scheduling.
