ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department in Utica, New York. This travel position offers a 12-hour evening shift from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The role involves providing care for a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients. The Emergency Department consists of 64 beds, including triage, acute, trauma, and specialty areas. Patients commonly present with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Responsibilities include managing critical patients, administering medications and drips, and using specialized equipment like rapid infusors and Arctic Sun. Floating may be required, and charge nurse capabilities are highly preferred. Candidates must have at least two years of recent Emergency Department experience, including pediatrics, and prior travel experience is required. Certifications in AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS are mandatory, along with an active NY RN license. Proficiency in EPIC EMR is essential.
