Staffing
Day Shift:
- 6 RNs starting at 6:00 AM
- Additional RNs starting at 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 2:00 PM
Night Shift:
- 6 RNs starting at 6:00 PM

Job Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred
Required Licensure and Certifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor, per facility policy
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor, per facility policy
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor, per facility policy
- Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM/TEAM-A) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Assess patients by collecting relevant health information, analyzing findings, identifying patient needs, and establishing appropriate care plans and expected outcomes.
- Implement and coordinate nursing interventions to achieve desired outcomes while promoting patient safety and a healing environment.
- Evaluate patient progress and modify care interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, compassionate, and effective care.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and ongoing care needs.
- Communicate relevant health information to patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care and appropriate follow-up.
- Delegate responsibilities appropriately and coordinate the activities of healthcare team members.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
