Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position requires a passionate individual with strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
Assess patients' conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Document patient care accurately and timely.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and treatment options.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current New York State nursing license.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Excellent communication skills and strong ability to prioritize tasks.

Work Schedule

This position involves 12-hour night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM) with a commitment of 36 hours per week over an 8-week period.
