Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency care setting. The role involves providing acute care to both adult and pediatric patients, including triage, critical care, and fast track services. This position requires adaptability to float within the ER, flexible scheduling, and demonstrated experience managing a diverse patient population.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 12/28/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications, and a minimum of 3 years of ER experience including pediatric and adult cases.
- Preferred Qualifications: Significant pediatric ER experience, experience with triage and fast track procedures in ER settings, proficiency in interpreting EKGs, and familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have experience working in a high-acuity ER environment, managing multiple patient scenarios including respiratory failure, trauma, substance abuse cases, and critical illness. Role includes managing ER holds, collaborating with MDs and mid-level providers, and performing essential clinical procedures.
