Job Summary:

- Position: Emergency Department RN (with Peds experience and Travel RN experience required)
- Location: Local applicants preferred (within 75 miles)
- Experience Required:
- 2+ years recent ED nursing experience (including Pediatrics)
- Documented travel RN experience
- Clinical Skills Required:
- Experience with common ED diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, MI, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
- Familiarity with specialty equipment: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
- Patient population: Newborn, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics
- Certifications Required:
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
- TNCC (must be in hand at submission)
- Licensure:
- Active NY RN license (verified on NURSYS), all RN licenses must be reported
- Driver’s license address must match application demographics
- EMR Experience:
- Proficiency with EPIC required
- Unit Details:
- 64-bed Emergency Department: 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, 6 psych beds
- Charge nurse experience highly preferred
- Floating to other units required
- Scrub color: Navy Blue
