Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult Emergency Department

Position Overview

This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Adult Emergency Department, offering a dynamic and high-volume environment. The position focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in a resilient healthcare setting.

Assignment Details

• Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
• Orientation Dates: 11/30, 12/14
• Required Shifts: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), 36 Hours per Week
• Variable Days: Weekends and Holidays Required
• No Block Scheduling

Requirements

Minimum Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience is required.
• Recent experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is preferred.

Certifications & Licensure

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• PALS or ENPC certification is required.
• Current Florida RN License or Compact RN License is necessary at the time of submission.

Additional Requirements

• Recent experience with Epic software is mandatory.
• A professional reference within the last 12 months is required.

Testing and Compliance

All new RN hires must successfully complete a specialty-specific competency exam and an EKG exam (including rhythm mapping and interpretation). A minimum score of 80% on each exam is required to fulfill compliance obligations.

Important Notes

• No local candidates are accepted; the position abides by a 50.5-mile radius rule.
• No requested time off (RTO) during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
• A maximum of 10 days of RTO is permissible for a 13-week contract.
• Unplanned Time Off (UTO) may lead to contract cancellation if missed shifts are not compensated.
