Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Normal, Illinois.

Job Summary (List Format):

- Provides professional nursing care for a group of patients during assigned shifts.
- Utilizes the nursing process, current trends, and technology to deliver patient care.
- Performs all required duties and responsibilities specific to the Emergency Department (ED).
- Completes initial patient assessments, develops and implements individualized care plans in collaboration with providers, patients, and families.
- Modifies care plans based on ongoing patient assessments and changing needs.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation for integration into the healthcare team.
- Ensures patient and staff safety by identifying and addressing safety hazards and incidents.
- Communicates effectively with staff, patients, families, and visitors to promote a healthy, healing environment.
- Provides constructive feedback to peers for professional development and problem-solving.
- Identifies personal learning needs and pursues opportunities for growth and competency.
- Fulfills all departmental competencies and adheres to unit standards.
- Requires minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.
- Requires Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) and active Illinois RN license in good standing.
- Requires BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC/TNS/TCRN certifications (American Heart Association).
- Works 12-hour night shifts in the Emergency Department.
- Communicates effectively in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Med Ninjas Job ID #6243. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
