Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced emergency department in Hermiston, OR. The ER RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients experiencing medical emergencies, performing rapid assessments, triage, and interventions while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver timely, effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments, triage, and prioritize care based on acuity.
- Provide emergency nursing care for a wide range of medical conditions and injuries.
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as appropriate.
- Coordinate, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
- Ensure compliance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise and provide direction to assigned personnel.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Requirements:
- Active Oregon or compact RN License
- Recent Emergency Room (ER) experience
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- TNCC Certification
