Job Summary:

The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for providing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process, current trends, technology, and available resources within the institution's philosophy. This role involves patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and continuous evaluation to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN also ensures patient and staff safety, maintains accurate documentation, and collaborates effectively with colleagues, patients, and families.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.
• ASN degree.
• Illinois state RN License in good standing.
• BLS (American Heart Association).
• ACLS (American Heart Association).
• PALS (American Heart Association).
• TNCC or TNS or TCRN certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN degree.

Additional Information:

• Implements procedures and theories specific to ED nursing.
• Develops and modifies care plans based on continuous assessment.
• Ensures safety standards are adhered to and reports/corrects safety hazards.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records/documentation.
