Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Emergency Room setting, including triage, assessment, and treatment of acute and critical conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment in accordance with facility protocols
- Support Med/Surg patient care needs as required within the unit
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards throughout each shift
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kansas or a compact state
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Prior clinical experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a combined ER/Med-Surg environment
- Familiarity with rural or critical access hospital settings
