Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.
Job Summary
- Current NYS RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Previous travel nurse experience required
- MEDITECH EMR experience required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Critical Care and charge nurse experience preferred
- Able to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and quality patient care
- Skilled at assessing patient clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
- Recognizes safety issues and uses lifts to move patients safely
- Functions well under stress and demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership abilities; able to prioritize, delegate, and potentially serve as charge nurse
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
- IV, medication, and phlebotomy certification required during orientation
Med Ninjas Job ID #18651. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
