Position Details
- Position: Supervisor / Charge Nurse
- Departments:Medical-Surgical + Emergency Room
- Facility: Grape Community Hospital
- Shift:Night – 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts
- Hours:36 hours/week
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
- Role:Working supervisor — the nurse provides direct patient care while also handling supervisor/charge responsibilities.
Main Responsibilities
The candidate will:
- Supervise/charge the Med-Surg and ER departments
- Work clinically in Med-Surg and/or ER
- Support nursing staff and patient care
- Handle supervisor/charge responsibilities while remaining hands-on.
Required Certifications
All four are required:
The facility also asks candidates to submit any OB/Newborn Stabilization education or training they have completed.
Important Experience
The candidate should have:
- Med-Surg experience
- ER experience
- Charge/Supervisor experience
- Ability to work independently in both areas.
