Job Description

Our client, a leading healthcare institution, is looking for an RN - Emergency Department to start right away in New Haven, CT. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant city known for its rich history and cultural offerings.

Responsibilities

Manage and respond to patient messages through the electronic in-basket.
Provide patient education related to oncology diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
Perform phone triage and determine appropriate follow-up or escalation in the outpatient oncology clinic setting.
Coordinate care, including tests, referrals, and appointments, to support the patient's plan of care.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary oncology team to address patient needs and maintain continuity of care.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient oncology setting.
Experience with phone triage and care coordination.
Knowledge of chemotherapy and oncology patient care.
