Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse located in Bemidji, Minnesota. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a busy Level III Emergency Department. The nurse will be responsible for implementing the nursing process within the healthcare facility, utilizing equipment such as EPIC electronic medical records and Accudose medication systems, during 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with shifts scheduled every other to every third weekend. Shifts include day, evening, and night rotations.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Minnesota state Registered Nurse (RN) license; minimum of 2 years recent experience in an Emergency Department (ED) with annual visits around 28,000 or higher; BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Trauma level III or higher experience preferred.
  • Float: Floating to other units/departments as needed, including Med Surg.
  • Additional Information: The ED has 15 beds, including 4 fast track rooms and 1 triage area. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:3 or 1:4. All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility and are required to wear navy blue scrubs.
