Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking two experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for a travel assignment on the night shift. This position is available for a 13-week duration, with a focus on delivering exceptional care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

This role offers the unique opportunity to work in a full-spectrum Emergency Department that caters to a diverse patient population, including a locked behavioral health unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages, predominantly adults.
• Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, providing appropriate interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage emergency situations and coordinate patient flow effectively within the department.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health and wellness.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts or eligibility for an emergency MA license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a large Emergency Department.
• Previous travel assignment experience is preferred; first-time travelers with the required experience will be considered.
• CPI training will be provided on site.

Unit Details

• Patient Population: All ages, predominantly adults.
• Occasional pediatric patients; a Level 1 pediatric trauma center is located nearby.
• Includes a locked behavioral health unit with 12-bed capacity.
• Fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
