Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Presque Isle,, Maine.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

  • Patient Types:
  • Neonates to Geriatrics
  • General ED patients to include, but not limited to: Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Behavioral Health, etc.
  • Patient Ratios:
    • RN – 1:4 (variable upon patient acuity within department)
  • Required Certifications:
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • TNCC (preferred)
    • NRP (preferred)
  • Skills required:
    • Please ask all travelers about charge experience and include in the offer info if they have/have not worked in a CRN capacity
    • EKGs, IV starts, familiarity with TNKase administration, nebulizer treatments, initiating Bipap, suture removal, assisting with casting, vent management
  • Charting System: FirstNet
  • Floating:
    • None
  • Scheduling:
    • Weekend rotation: Every other
    • Call required? No call
    • Holiday Expectations: as needed
    • Approval of time off? Seek manager approval; text Heather Pelletier
  • Other notes:
    • Scrub Color: Any color, professional; (hospital scrubs are available but not required)
    • Onsight locker/changing room, and Gym
