Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Our organization provides a state-of-the-art emergency service facility designed to deliver immediate care for various medical situations, from minor injuries to critical trauma cases. We maintain a 24/7 emergency department at multiple locations within the region.

Shift Notes

  • Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
  • Weekend Requirements: Work every other weekend, with holiday shifts expected

Attendance Policy

Please note that our organization has implemented a strict attendance policy. Any Registered Nurse who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift three times will be terminated immediately. Exceptions may be considered for documented cases such as a communicable disease or hospitalization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to make patient care decisions.
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting is required.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in Michigan is required.
  • Active certification in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS (AHA) at the time of application.

Additional Information

All applicants are required to have a skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties. Physical copies of certifications should be provided if requested. Full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
