Emergency Room RN (ED/Trauma)

Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department / Trauma
Shift: 3×12-hour Night Shifts (PM/NOCs)
Schedule: Rotating schedule, including every 3rd weekend
Start: ASAP
Experience: ED experience required

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide rapid assessment and treatment for patients presenting with a wide range of injuries and acute illnesses.

The ED RN is responsible for prioritizing patient needs, stabilizing conditions, administering medications, and providing timely emergency care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessment and triage of emergency patients
• Stabilize patients experiencing acute illness or injury
• Administer medications and treatments
• Start IVs and draw blood
• Assist with intubation and emergency procedures
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes quickly
• Provide trauma and emergency nursing care
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary ED team
• Demonstrate competency with telemetry monitoring

Requirements

• Active RN State License – Required
• BLS – Required
• Emergency Department experience – Required
• Telemetry competency – Required
• RN Emergency Room / Adult-General experience
• Completion of required nursing competency assessments and skills checklists
• Core Mandatory Nursing exams/checklists as required

Schedule

• 3×12-hour night shifts
• PM/NOC rotation
• Every 3rd weekend
• Schedule may vary bi-weekly
