  • Position: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse
  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 10/26/2026
  • End Date: 01/25/2027
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
  • Education & Experience: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years of ER experience, Cerner EMR experience preferred.
  • Unit Details: 33-bed ER with 25 cardiac monitor-equipped rooms, triage bays staffed with midlevels, RNs, or LVNs, capable of managing up to 210 patients per day
  • Staffing: Charge nurse available 24/7, ER Techs with EMT, MA, or CNA experience perform tech duties and EKGs
  • Additional responsibilities: Proper documentation, adherence to EMTALA regulations, handling ER holds, and managing stroke-certified patients with specialized protocols
  • Float: Float rotation may be required for the ER unit as needed
  • Other notes: Must have strong documentation skills, Cerner EMR experience preferred, and ability to work in a fast-paced emergency setting
