Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Night Shift Location: unspecified.   • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with 2 weekends per 4 weeks and holidays as needed.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; Education: minimum of 2 years of ER experience; Experience: 2 years in emergency nursing; Location: ER setting; Years of Experience: 2 years minimum.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Cerner electronic health record experience, recent Cerner usage noted on resume.
  • Float: No floating outside of the ER.
  • Additional Information:
    • ER features a 33-bed emergency department with triage bays, staffed by midlevel providers and registered nurses.
    • Patient care includes routine ER cases, STEMIs, hemorrhagic strokes, and pediatric patients.
    • Hospital is stroke-certified and functions as the base hospital for EMS.
    • Strong documentation skills required; follows EMTALA regulations.
    • Up to 6 shifts of unit-specific orientation with a preceptor.
    • No RT float; pharmacy open 24/7; dedicated central monitor stations.
    • Shift start date: 10/26/2026, end date: 01/25/2027.
