Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Medicine

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialty in Emergency Medicine to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, catering to both adult and pediatric populations.

Shift Details

  • Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
  • Mid Shift: 3x12-Hour (15:00 - 03:30)
  • Includes weekends and holidays

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Emergency Department within the last three years
  • Experience with adult and pediatric care
  • Proficient in Epic electronic health record system
  • Must hold a valid Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
  • Current certifications required:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA ONLY
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA ONLY
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA ONLY
    • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • Candidate must pass a telemetry test prior to beginning

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals in the emergency department
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide timely and effective care
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions
