Location: GWUH ED
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of ER experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Current state RN license required
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program required
- BSN highly preferred
- Cerner experience required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
- Must be willing to work in the trauma room as a bedside trauma RN
- Must be comfortable with a 1:5 patient ratio
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of conditions, including trauma, critical care, pediatric, and psychiatric cases.
- Manage critical care skills, including medication titrations, arterial lines, massive blood transfusions, and chest tubes.
- Coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs.
- Work in a fast-paced emergency department while maintaining patient safety and a positive patient experience.
