Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3 years of ER experience and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

  • Fast-paced Emergency Department treating patients across the full acuity spectrum
  • Patient population includes urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma cases
  • Manages critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12s, 7p-7a
  • 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment

Requirements

  • Active SC or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CPI (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training) certifications required
  • AHA-issued certifications only
  • 3 years of ER experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
  • BSN highly desired
  • US SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Coordinates and delivers care to patients with complex nursing needs to ensure safety, quality, and a positive patient experience
  • Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
