Position Details

- Fast-paced Emergency Department environment
- High-acuity patient population
- Patient ratios within California state guidelines
- No on-call requirement
Experience & Requirements
- Active CA RN License
- 1+ year of recent ER nursing experience
- Recent ER experience must be in a Level I Trauma institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse patient population
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Cerner experience preferred
- AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS
- NIHSS
- MAB or CPI
- LA City Fire & Life Safety Card
Clinical Experience
- Rapid triage, patient assessment, and stabilization
- Care for acute illnesses and injuries, including:
- Minor to complex/major trauma
- Respiratory emergencies requiring intubation
- Cardiac complaints
- Complex infections
- Psychiatric emergencies
- Initiate treatment plans and administer medications
- Cardiac monitoring
- Assist with emergency procedures and resuscitation
- Provide life-saving care to critically injured patients
Travel Pay Package
- $25/hr taxable
- $37.50/hr OT
- $1,350/week housing stipend
- $2,400 gross/week
