Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Perform IV starts and phlebotomy.
• Participate in call rotations, including weekend and holiday shifts as needed.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.
• Conduct triage and assess patient conditions.
• Assist in charge nurse duties after receiving appropriate training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• At least 1 previous travel nursing assignment.
• Current certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS
  • PALS
• Preferred certifications:
  • CPI
  • MAB
  • TNCC

Skills Required

Additional Information

• This department sees approximately 150 patient visits per day.
• Scrubs are not provided; navy blue is the required color.

Shift Details

This position primarily entails night shifts, with a schedule of 4 shifts of 12 hours each week.
