Job Details

  • Position Description: Provides general medical care in a 25-bed critical access hospital, including emergency department, outpatient care, skilled nursing, and swing bed services. Utilizes equipment such as EMR (Epic/One Chart), Pyxis for medication administration, Alaris IV pumps, and Phillips telemetry/cardiac monitoring.
  • Required Qualifications: RN skills with at least 3 years of experience preferred; MN RN license, ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA), TNCC certifications required; specific licensures and certifications as listed.
  • Schedule: Rotating days and nights shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, including at least every third weekend.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Emergency Room settings and working within a critical access hospital environment.
  • Additional Information: All nurses may float to units/departments including ED, hospital, outpatient nursing, and PACU. New RNs are paired with an experienced RN for orientation, with EMR training available on-site. Staffing includes a minimum of 2 RNs at night and 3-4 during day/evening shifts, supported by nursing assistants from 0500-2130.
