Job Summary:
The Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position is located in Quincy, Illinois. This immediate opening requires an experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in a Level 2 Trauma and Stroke Center with full treatment facilities for Sexual Assault Survivors. The role involves night shifts focused on acute care, with a strong emphasis on trauma and emergency response.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois nursing license, ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, at least 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) RN experience, successful completion of 4 hours of billable computer modules prior to start, ability to start ASAP
  • Additional Information: Attention is needed to incorporate four hours of billable computer modules completed the week prior to start. Nurse must be able to begin immediately upon onboarding. This position involves working in a 30-bed unit with approximately 120 patients per day, across various shifts, staffed according to patient census. The ER is equipped to provide comprehensive trauma, stroke, and sexual assault care, with focus on trauma level 2 procedures and chest pain management.
