Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; 2 years in a similar high-acuity ED preferred.
- Level I trauma experience required according to the facility profile.
- Level II experience also mentioned in the requisition comments; confirm the actual trauma-level requirement with the agency.
- Teaching hospital experience preferred.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
- Preferred certifications: NIHSS, CEN, or TCRN.
- Experience with high-acuity emergency patients and critical care interventions.
- Must be comfortable with high-risk cardiac drips, mass transfusions, tPA, EKGs, arterial lines, ventilators, chest tubes, and transvenous pacemakers.
