Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling a variety of urgent and emergent cases with professionalism and skill.

Shift Details

  • Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts
  • Shift Timing: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Holiday Requirement: As scheduled

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in emergency situations.
  • Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in an Emergency Room setting.
  • Current certifications required:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
    • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
