Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position located in an acute care facility. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level 2 Trauma ER with a focus on trauma, stroke, and STEMI patients. This position offers a fast-paced environment requiring clinical expertise, excellent judgment, and adaptability.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with start date of 10/05/2026 and end date of 01/04/2027.
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, CPI, ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, NRP, TNCC, minimum 1 year of ER experience; travel experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: ER unit handles approximately 100-105 patients daily, with nurse-patient ratios generally 1:4, adjusting to 1:6 in specific areas. The unit manages various trauma and medical cases, including pediatric cases comprising about 10% of patient volume. Responsibilities include managing critical drips, drawing labs, working with support staff, and utilizing the EPIC charting system. Orientation consists of 1.5 days on the unit, with in-house housing options available.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
