Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to delivering excellent patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Mids (13:30 - 02:00)
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend required
Holiday Requirements: Required as scheduled
Floating: Required within specialty as needed
Patient Ratio: 1:4, up to 5 with lower acuity patient group
Average Daily Census: 140
Number of Beds: 46
Patient Age Group: All age ranges

Patient Diagnoses

Chest Pain
Stroke
Sepsis
Cardiac Arrest
Trauma
Respiratory Illness
Respiratory Arrest

Special Equipment

Belmont for trauma
Giraffe warmer for neonates
Rapid infuser
Lucas device for cardiac arrests

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience required; travel experience preferred but first-time travelers with 5+ years of experience will be considered
Experience with EPIC charting system is required
Current RN license for the state
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH stroke scale, CPI, and TNCC certifications required
