Emergency Room Nurse (ER RN)

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong clinical skill set.

Position Overview

This position is focused on providing high-quality emergency care to patients in a combined adult and pediatric setting, handling complex multi-system diagnoses.

Contract Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Shift: 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts; primary shift is days (07:00 - 19:30) with potential for rotating evening shifts depending on departmental needs.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Assist in the efficient operation of the emergency department.
Provide support for specialized emergency protocols including STEMI and Stroke certification processes.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers considered with a strong skill set.
Current RN license in the state of Maryland.
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI).

Scheduling Requirements

Availability for every other weekend and as scheduled holidays.
Floating within the specialty and to sister emergency departments as necessary.
