Job Summary 
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift (7PM - 7AM)
- Start Date: 05/10/2026


Essential Responsibilities:
- Practice independently in a similar clinical setting, demonstrating full awareness of relevant aspects of patient care.
- Provide both routine and complex nursing care, focusing on both immediate needs and long-term goals.
- Manage and cope with contingencies in clinical nursing situations.
- Appropriately assign tasks and delegate duties to other healthcare providers to manage the clinical environment.
- Adhere to OneCHRISTUS Competencies (Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders).
- Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address and manage complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and available resources.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications:
- BLS certification via AHA (required)
- ACLS certification via AHA (required)
- PALS certification via AHA (required)
- TNCC certification (required)
- De-Escalation certification (required)
- Current RN license in state of employment or compact (required)
