Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in Carlsbad. This 13-week assignment is available immediately, offering night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. The role involves providing critical care to patients in a Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department, with floating within the nurses scope, including possible assignments in ICU. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong assessment skills, medication administration proficiency, and knowledge of safety standards, with at least 2 years of ER experience.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 6:30 PM 7:00 AM; minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in emergency nursing, valid ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications; NRP preferred; ability to work in the Emergency Department and adapt to floating assignments within the scope and experience of the nurse; location requirements as per state regulations; valid licensure and clinical competency in emergency nursing
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department; familiarity with MedHost (EDIS) electronic medical record system
