Job Requirements

• Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• BSN required
• At least one completed contract nursing assignment required
• Recent Epic experience required
• High-volume, fast-paced emergency care experience preferred
• Active New Jersey RN license or compact license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• All certifications must be active at time of submission

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment, triage, and nursing care for patients presenting with emergent and urgent conditions
• Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a high-volume emergency department environment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support timely treatment and patient flow
• Document accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic medical records (EMR)
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support unit operations during scheduled weekends and orientation activities
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and required certifications throughout the assignment
