Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse in a high-volume facility. This role involves providing emergency care to a diverse patient population, demonstrating proficiency in evidence-based practices, and managing complex clinical situations. The ER nurse will work independently and collaboratively to deliver timely, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, scheduled from 10/05/2026 to 01/04/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: CA RN Licensure, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, 2 years of experience in Emergency Room. Location requirements are met with valid CA State Licensure uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, experience with Epic charting system, community hospital experience, and travel experience preferred.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC with valid expiration dates.
  • Skills: Care of ventilated patients, management of trauma and multisystem organ failure, advanced airway management including intubation, arterial line management, medication administration, interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias, stroke and trauma patient care, procedural sedation, and mental health management.
  • Additional Information: The role involves managing a high patient census, handling complex emergency cases, and adhering to strict safety and operational protocols. Orientation hours are 2, with compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date.
