Job description: Step into a fast-paced Emergency Department serving the southern half of Johnson County. This 29-bed ED sees approximately 120 patients daily and is designated as a Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center. Nurses will care for a diverse emergency patient population and some inpatient boarders while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Enjoy a consistent 12-hour night schedule, no on-call requirements, and no floating outside the ED.
Requirements
* Minimum of 1 year ER experience
* Valid Kansas or Compact license
* BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
Ideal candidate is self-motivated and team-oriented ED RN who is comfortable with high patient volumes, rapidly changing conditions, and maintaining a positive attitude in a busy emergency department.
Level 1 Job ID #38498102. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
